HOW DOES MUSIC IN THE MORNING COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Music in the Morning collects personal information directly from you over the phone, fax, in person at concerts and on order forms. We do not collect information about you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. Order forms state in writing, “Music in the Morning will use your information only to process your transaction and for any Music in the Morning related correspondence with you. If you do not wish to be on our mailing list, please contact our office, 604.873.4612.” When collecting your personal information over the phone, you will be asked if you would like to be added to our database.
WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES MUSIC IN THE MORNING COLLECT?
The type of information we collect from you depends on your transaction and can include your name, address, phone number, email, donation history, payment information, and seating requirements.
WHY DOES MUSIC IN THE MORNING COLLECT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Music in the Morning uses your personal information to process your transactions as well as to notify you of any Music in the Morning related news and opportunities, such as upcoming events and fundraising opportunities. Donors are acknowledged for their generous support in our concert programs and can be removed at any time by contacting Music in the Morning’s office. Music in the Morning does not rent, sell or exchange your personal with any other organizations.
HOW DOES MUSIC IN THE MORNING STORE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Music in the Morning values the confidentiality of your personal information, and we take appropriate steps to safeguard it while it is in our possession. Music in the Morning stores your information digitally on our database on a secure server and hard copies are stored in a secure building. Music in the Morning employees are trained to protect your personal information. Music in the Morning’s board of directors is actively involved in the running of the organization and therefore from time to time may have access to your personal information to carry out the operating of the organization.
